Life begins the moment we take our first breath and continues until the day we leave this universe. Within this span, we witness, experience, and feel an endless array of emotions—joy and sorrow, triumph and despair. We evolve, suffer, cry, fall, rise, dive into challenges, and sometimes, we simply let go and embrace peace. This constant ebb and flow of emotions and events is what makes life so profound and unpredictable.
If you try to truly feel life, it becomes difficult to grasp. If you attempt to analyze it, it seems too complex to understand. And if you seek to decode its essence, you realize it is far too vast to ever fully comprehend. Life is a random phenomenon—sometimes bringing joy beyond imagination, and at other times, suffering beyond words. The beauty of life lies in this unpredictability. If everything were known and preordained, wouldn’t it be unbearably dull?
The Many Faces of Life
I see life as crude, yet mature. It is crude because it is unpredictable, yet mature because it is intricately designed. It is simple because it moves forward without pause, yet vague because its origins remain a mystery. I often find myself asking—What is life? Each time, my inner voice gives me a different answer, shaped by the circumstances I find myself in. Sometimes, I see my own reflection and think, this is life. Other times, I observe others and think the same. Within these shifting perspectives lies the essence of everyone’s existence.
No one has definitively answered this question, and perhaps no one ever will—because that is how it is meant to be. Some say God created life, but that leads to an inevitable question: Who created God? If science tells us that life was born from the Earth, then who created the Earth? The Big Bang? But what existed before the Big Bang? The "who" and "why" questions stretch endlessly, leaving us at a point where we must accept that not everything assumed is true. Not even gods have all the answers, for they too would have their own higher gods, and so on.
Yet, despite its mysteries, life is beautifully and intriguingly created. The process of growth is astounding—we never remain in the same state, constantly evolving. And the renewal process, death, is just as phenomenal. Without renewal, life would overcrowd the world beyond measure.
The Power of Thought and Purpose
One of the most incredible gifts of life is thought. Imagine a world without thoughts, emotions, or consciousness—life would be entirely different. Thoughts shape our perspectives, emotions drive our actions, and our senses allow us to experience the richness of existence. This blend of magic and mystery makes life truly extraordinary.
Even before we were born, we fought against millions of others for the chance to exist. We won that battle and spent nine months in a protective cocoon—our mother’s womb—before emerging into the world. This very fact suggests that we are here for a reason. Life isn’t random; it comes with purpose. The challenge is to discover what that purpose is.
As we move through different stages of life—from birth to death—each moment is unique to each individual. Some of us have countless stories to tell, while others have only a few. But everyone has a story.
The Stories of Life
Some stories are filled with hope and ambition, while others are marked by sorrow and loss. Some are about exhilarating adventures, while others are about quiet, ordinary moments. Some stories make us laugh, some make us cry, and some leave us breathless with excitement. Each story adds to the richness of life, and the more stories we gather, the more fully we have lived.
Life is not meant to be easy. The more challenges it throws our way, the more thrilling the journey becomes. Sometimes, life will kick you down—and sometimes, you will have to kick back. Sometimes, life will write your story—and sometimes, you will have to take control and write it yourself. Sometimes, life will tease you—and sometimes, you will have to tease it right back.
Through it all, remember: Life is a game. Play it. Take it as a performance where you embrace every role with passion and discipline. Move forward with faith, embrace the unpredictability, and most importantly—live. Don’t just survive.
Because LIFE ROCKS.
